Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice
• BSN preferred but not required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• 2 years medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• LTAC/rehabilitation nursing or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care on nursing units.
• Ensure adequate staffing and monitor work performance.
• Provide feedback on employee performance and behavior.
• Interpret and enforce hospital policies.
• Make nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the CNO.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

RN licensure in state

BSN preferred

BLS and ACLS certification

2 years medical-surgical nursing experience
