• Directs patient placement, bed coordination, and staffing to support safe operations.
• Screens referrals for behavioral health services and coordinates care transitions.
• Verifies medical coverage, secures authorizations when required, and documents appropriately.
• Ensures safe transitions of care and collaborates with multiple departments to optimize flow.
• Leads surge and capacity responses and supports transfer and repatriation processes.
• Monitors performance using bed-tracking data, daily metrics, and census reconciliation.
