Job summary
Cedars Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate interdisciplinary workflows to maintain best practice standards.
The role requires an California RN license, nursing leadership experience, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS; ICU/Rapid Response experience is highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style are essential.
Qualifications
- Valid California RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification preferred
- Three+ years of RN experience
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- Rapid Response experience strongly preferred
- 1+ years supervisory/managerial experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal relationships and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff and schedules shifts
- Performs administrative duties including shift scheduling
- Collaborates with departments for interdisciplinary improvements
- Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients
- Addresses patient concerns to ensure quality care
- Collaborates to solve problems and make decisions
- Establishes strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
