Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am). The role oversees 24-hour operations within clinical units, ensures staffing alignment with patient acuity, and promotes primary nursing autonomy. Requires an RN license (Florida) and at least three years in rehab or medical-surgical nursing, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Florida, with at least three years’ experience in rehabilitation or medical surgical nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• BSN or CRRN nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour/day operations within the specified clinical units.
• Evaluates staffing needs per shift and makes adjustments to accommodate patient acuity.
• Promotes accountability and autonomy through primary nursing.
• Acts as resource person to unit staff and provides patient care as needed.
• Maintains a safe unit environment and ensures compliance with safety policies.
