Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a Nurses Focused Campus Staff Minister (CSM) for Georgia (Undergraduate Ministry). This remote position supports nursing students and faculty on college campuses and reports to NCF leadership.

The role requires fundraising work to secure the program’s salary and involves coordinating ministry teams across campuses. The CSM will develop planting plans, identify new campuses, and equip Student Leaders through Scripture, prayer, and leadership

Qualifications

Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement).
Abide by InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct.
Believe and behave consonantly with InterVarsity’s Human Sexuality Theological Paper.
Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity’s Women in Ministry Statement.
Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with nursing students and/or a corner ministry, preferably in a planting context.
Track record of advocating for NCF and nursing student ministry.
Respected in the region, especially regarding nursing student ministry.
Basic understanding of the nursing student reality and NCF, with a desire to learn more.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support existing ministry, working with local volunteers, student leaders, and local InterVarsity staff.
Identify potential NCF planting campuses in the region.
Identify the top 3 campuses for NCF planting each year.
Create a 2-to-3-year NCF planting roadmap for the region, including critical campuses and strategies.
Promote NCF in the area/region with students, staff, and constituents.
Host an NCF interest table/luncheon at a regional conference/camp.
Vision-casting calls with staff in the region who have shown interest in nursing student ministry.
Send semi-annual emails to local NCF members updating on nursing student ministry.
Participation in other NCF and regional programming as requested.
