Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior in a nursing program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.25 required and must remain in good academic standing.
• Must be in good standing with their nursing program.
• Must meet all pre-employment and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks and ensure supervision at 15-minute intervals.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report to nursing staff.
• Provide urgent attention to patient safety and deliver quality customer service.
• Document clinical information in the patient’s medical record.
• Ensure well-being and provide a positive, structured environment.
• Complete documentation and assist with incident follow-up.
• Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups (social skills, coping skills, anger management, living skills).
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Record vitals, height, and weight and document.
• Report patient progress to RN.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
