M Health Fairview Health Services is looking for a Nursing Station Technician (CNA/HUC) at The University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank! This position is 0.80 FTE (64 hours per two weeks), 8 hour shifts on the day shift with an every other weekend rotation.
The starting base rate of pay for the position is $22.50. Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay.

The Nursing Station Technician (NST) is a hybrid position consisting of both Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles to deliver direct patient care and administrative duties. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fast-paced unit. The NST is responsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patients and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining rooms, reordering, and stocking supplies. In addition, the NST will maintain unit desk area functions such as answering phones, processing admissions, discharging and transferring forms, transcribing orders, assembling patient charts, and ordering tests.
