Job summary

Freedom Behavioral seeks a Staffing Coordinator to manage nursing schedules across Monroe and West Monroe locations, ensuring coverage, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. You’ll partner with DON, Nurse Manager, HR, and department leaders to forecast needs and minimize agency usage.

This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare administration or related field.
• Experience in healthcare staffing or hospital administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing staff schedules across both Freedom Behavioral Hospital locations.
• Monitor staffing levels for compliance with regulations and census.
• Coordinate staffing adjustments for call-ins, PTO, and shortages.
• Communicate staffing updates to leadership in a timely manner.
• Support onboarding and orientation for staff as needed.
