Job summary

PACS seeks a temporary Staffing Scheduler to maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars and coordinate nursing coverage across units. You will work with the Human Resources Director and DNS to schedule staff according to work restrictions and facility policy, and ensure proper posting of schedules.

You will also assist with orientation, attend in-service trainings, and keep records up to date, contributing to a smooth staffing process for the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating staffing in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Coordinate variances with the DNS and schedule modified work duty employees per policy.
• Prepare and post nursing schedules to ensure unit coverage.
• Provide orientation schedules for newly hired nursing staff and assign orientation support.
• Attend in-service trainings and maintain records for facility education.
• Report staffing and scheduling issues to the DNS and management.
• Foster good working relationships across departments and with unit staff.
