CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator in Santa Fe, NM to provide technical support for patient care services through scheduling, staffing, and reporting on staffing metrics and special projects.

You will help ensure adequate nursing staffing across shifts, create and maintain staffing schedules, and support payroll data recording. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer applications and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; one year post-high school courses in business preferred.
• Experience in the health care field; hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and multi-line telephone skills; ability to analyze data.
• Proficient with computer applications and scheduling systems.

Responsabilités

• Ensures adequate staff coverage for all shifts by developing staffing schedules.
• References unit staffing patterns to determine minimum staffing for each nursing classification.
• Maintains current personnel phone lists and coordinates replacements.
• Assists in daily staffing by assigning personnel and communicating staffing needs.
• Schedules and posts calendars for float per diem nursing personnel.
• Enters changes to schedules promptly and supports payroll data recording.
• Assists in development and implementation of projects for patient care services.
