Job summary

Emerald Healthcare is seeking a Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler in Omaha, NE to coordinate nursing staff schedules, manage attendance, and ensure coverage for all shifts within a skilled nursing facility. This role reports to the DON and is full-time in an office-based environment.

Responsibilities include developing shift schedules, coordinating with HR, aiding recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining timekeeping records.

Qualifications

• Active on state Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Active on state Medication Aide Registry preferred.
• CPR highly recommended.
• Experience in healthcare, particularly in staffing or scheduling, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with the regulations and practices of skilled nursing facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing schedules based on census, acuity, and staffing needs and adjust for absences or events.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident care needs.
• Complete staff orientation and competencies as needed.
• Create and maintain schedules, coordinate with HR on staffing, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and maintain records.
