Job summary

The Stellar Health Group is seeking a Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler for our Burlington facility in Vermont. The role will be responsible for completing, maintaining and updating the schedules of our nurses and nursing assistants, ensuring resident/staff ratios meet requirements, and training on the scheduling system as needed.

The ideal candidate reads, writes and speaks English, demonstrates strong communication, organizational skills, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualifications as a scheduler or in similar scheduling roles.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Strong communication, organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work in a team.
• Ability to use computer systems and scheduling software; knowledge of safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff to meet facility needs and maintain required resident/staff ratios.
• Prepare schedules for new employees and daily documentation.
• Track vacation time, absences, and weekend shifts.
• Attend meetings as required and coordinate with leadership.
