Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience with staffing and scheduling nurses and CNAs.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to navigate internet and intranet systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to supporting overall facility goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain monthly nursing schedules for licensed nurses and CNAs.
• Assist with finding call-in replacements and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Help ensure schedules meet corporate, state, and federal staffing requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the Nursing Department.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, assist residents and families, and relay messages appropriately.
• Assist with administrative transfers and discharges.
• Maintain and organize nursing department records and documentation.
• Assist with job assignments, scheduling adjustments, and staffing-related reports.
• Communicate staffing needs and schedule changes with nursing leadership and team members.
• Run errands and assist with obtaining supplies when needed.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
