Job summary

Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler for the nursing department to ensure appropriate Nursing, CMA, and CNA coverage for each calendar month. The role collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Leadership to coordinate shifts, find replacements, and provide daily and weekly staffing reports.

A current and valid CNA license and prior scheduling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduling experience in healthcare.
• Current and valid CNA license.
• Ability to coordinate Nursing, CMA and CNA shifts.

Responsibilities

Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic individual to work as our Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler for the nursing department. The Staffing Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Leadership team to facilitate quality care for the residents. This position is responsible for coordinating all Nursing, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) schedules for each calendar month and finding replacements in order to meet all staffing guidelines. The Staffing Coordinator will provide daily and weekly reporting reflecting Nursing, CMA and CNA hours worked. The Staffing Coordinator will assist with Nursing Department activities to include administrative support; assisting residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Scheduling and have a current and valid CNA license.
