Job summary

Bridgeport Healthcare Center is currently seeking a Nursing Staff Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator. This full-time, Monday–Friday position supports staffing efficiencies and manages par levels of nursing supplies in a busy facility.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, with at least 1 year of relevant experience and good computer skills. CNA preferred to align with team and patient care operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in the field.
• Must be detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
• Must have good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Create or follow the master staffing schedule as directed by the DON or designee.
• Communicate with the DON and ADON to coordinate the nursing schedule.
• Prepare daily staffing sheets with revisions as necessary.
• Perform attendance and PTO administration for nursing staff.
• Conduct weekly inventory to maintain nursing par levels.
• Create a list of supplies and purchase materials to maintain inventory.
• Deal with vendors and manage shipments/returns.
• Prepare billing statements for resident billing to the Business Office.
• Fill requisitions with required information and file per policies.
• Scan product codes to fill orders and maintain inventory.
• Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed.
• Organize storage, issue and delivery of supplies per policies.
• Ensure departments/residents are charged for supplies received.
• Notify appropriate department when special orders arrive.
