Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CNA/CMT certification (required).
• Experience in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and comfort with technology.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed to support staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support departments.
• Monitor call-offs, attendance, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Communicate promptly with department leaders regarding staffing needs, open shifts, and schedule changes.
• Support new hire onboarding by preparing schedules, updating rosters, and assisting with orientation logistics.
• Maintain accurate schedules, and attendance documentation.
• Respond to staff questions regarding schedules and shift availability.
• Collaborate with HR, nursing leadership, and department managers to support staffing strategies and managing PPD according to facility metrics.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, residents, and families.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support smooth facility operations.
