Job summary

Hillside Heights Rehab in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage facility staffing for a defined resident population. You will create master schedules for nursing units and coordinate with HR/Payroll to ensure accurate time records are kept.

The role requires knowledge of staffing and orientation schedules; a High School Diploma or GED is required. CNA certification is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation is needed for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Must have knowledge of staffing and orientation schedules
• Current CNA Certification preferred, not required
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Kronos experience strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the staffing needs of the facility for a defined resident/patient population and time frame and maintaining accurate records related to the staffing of the nursing department.
• Creates a master schedule, adequately staffs the facility’s nursing units according to budgeted hours per patient day and budgeted staffing ratio.
• Makes the daily schedules for the nursing department and coordinating with the HR/Payroll coordinator to ensure that appropriate time records are kept.
• Updates schedule daily as needed
