Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a coordinator to ensure proper staffing of nursing units on a daily basis at the Portland location. The role focuses on forecasting vacancies, coordinating internal staff and external agencies to cover shifts, and entering census, acuity, and staffing data into the scheduling system for daily reports.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate degree or related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains and updates daily staffing sheets, and updates the working master schedules daily; coordinates with bed control to ensure required assignments are staffed.
• Maintains and updates employee contact information and staff qualifications list.
• Maintains attendance records, on-call and float lists; processes leave requests and inputs data into payroll system.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
