Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a bedside staffing coordinator under Nursing Administration Management. You will ensure patient care coverage, maintain the ANSOS personnel database, verify credentials, and adjudicate contract labor invoices.

Shifts rotate 2am-10:30am and 12:30pm-9pm, with coverage across UCSD Hillcrest and La Jolla hospitals. Strong scheduling experience and clear communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant clinical scheduling and staffing experience.
• Basic computer skills with email and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside staff as required by patient acuity system and maintain ANSOS personnel database.
• Adjudicate all contract labor invoices and ensure staff credentials on file.
• Coordinate decedent affairs including documentation, transportation, and regulatory compliance, with cross-coverage as needed.
