Job summary

Success Education Colleges in Glendale, CA seeks a Nursing Skills Lab Simulation Coordinator to oversee the nursing skills lab and simulation center. The role ensures safe and effective use of simulation equipment and supports faculty and students in developing psychomotor and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities include coordinating lab operations, creating and updating policies, scheduling equipment, and providing resources for mastery of clinical skills while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ nursing education experience within the last ten years or equivalent.
• Post-secondary teaching or coordination experience in a clinical skills lab preferred.
• Ability to manage and coordinate simulation activities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the nursing skills lab and simulation center operations.
• Develop and implement lab policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Schedule and monitor lab equipment usage and maintenance.
• Oversee lab set-up, demonstrations, and debriefing sessions.
• Collaborate with faculty to align simulations with clinical skills outcomes.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
