Job summary

Success Education Colleges (SEC) is a family of allied health institutions including Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing, North-West College, Glendale Career College and Nevada Career Institute. The Nursing Skills Laboratory Simulation Coordinator coordinates and manages SEC's nursing skills lab and simulation center in Glendale, CA, reporting to the Dean of Nursing.

The role ensures safe operation of simulation equipment and supports student learning.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• BSN or higher degree required.
• 2+ years’ experience in nursing education within last 10 years or equivalent.
• 1+ year RN direct patient care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the nursing skills lab and simulation center.
• Ensure safe and effective operation of lab equipment and simulation technology.
• Develop, update, and monitor lab policies and procedures.
• Schedule lab usage and manage equipment sign-out.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing lab for students and faculty.
• Collaborate with faculty to plan instructional strategies and demonstrations.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and safety compliance.
• Orient instructors to lab procedures and equipment operation.
