Job summary

Wright State University’s School of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Lab Associate to support undergraduate students in foundational clinical skills in the Learning Resource Center. You will provide hands-on instruction, guided practice, and competency support aligned with course objectives and accreditation standards.

Under faculty supervision, you will reinforce psychomotor skills, clinical reasoning, and safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license or eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to teach or support instruction of foundational nursing skills.
• Ability to provide coaching and remediation to support students.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in delivering hands-on instruction in core nursing skills.
• Provide guided practice, coaching, and remediation support to students.
• Reinforce clinical reasoning and safe patient care practices.
• Support competency check-offs and validation processes under supervision.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progression.
