Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking an experienced Nursing Skills Lab instructor to support lab instruction and student progress across multiple sites. You will collaborate with the Nursing Skills Lab Director and faculty to implement curriculum and assessments in alignment with accreditation standards.

The role involves full-time responsibility, some evenings and Saturdays as needed, and regular engagement with clinical facilities to ensure consistent lab outcomes and learner support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing; significant related experience may substitute.
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated RN experience
• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program
• Current, active, unencumbered RN license
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Demonstrated experience making decisions with major implications on department operations
• Ability to solve problems in adaptive, dynamic situations

Responsibilities

• Instructs, assists, and supports student learning in Nursing Skills Labs.
• Collaborates with the Nursing Skills Lab Director and faculty to meet curriculum needs.
• Coordinates maintenance of the lab and equipment; assists with supply inventory and ordering.
• Provides timely feedback to students and faculty regarding progress.
• Performs testing and remediation to support student advancement; works across campus sites
