Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license in good standing or eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure before start date.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience (acute care, long-term care, or similar).
• Ability to relate clinical practice to nursing theory.
• Ability to teach or support instruction of foundational nursing skills (physical assessment, meds, IV therapy).
• Aptitude for coaching, feedback, and remediation to support student skill development.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in delivering hands-on instruction for core nursing skills (physical assessment, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy).
• Provide guided practice, coaching, and remediation to students needing extra support.
• Reinforce clinical reasoning and safe patient care during skills practice.
• Support competency check-offs and skills validation under faculty supervision.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progression and readiness for clinical practice.
