Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio seeks a Nursing Skills Lab Coordinator to support lab instruction and student progress across campus locations. You will work with the Director of the Nursing Skills Lab and faculty to implement the curriculum and coordinate testing and remediation.

Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing, RN licensure, and at least three years of RN experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (significant related experience may substitute)
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated RN experience
• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program
• Demonstrated experience making decisions with major impact on department management
• Ability to adapt with dynamic problem solving in diverse situations

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and monitors nursing skills activities for students
• Performs circulating and skills testing to assist in psychomotor curriculum
• Performs final skills testing to determine student progression
• Communicates with faculty to provide timely feedback on student progress
• Remediates students when skill performance is unsatisfactory
• Collaborates with Director and faculty to ensure assessment and outcomes are met
• Assists in curriculum implementation according to accreditation standards
