Job summary

CCC is seeking a part-time Nursing Lab Instructor in Chicago to demonstrate nursing skills, monitor student performance, and organize lab activities. The role involves supervising practice sessions, maintaining the lab, and ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Collaboration with faculty is essential to meet clinical skill requirements. Candidates should hold a BSN, be licensed in Illinois, and have at least two years of clinical nursing and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, current IL RN license, plus 2+ years clinical nursing and teaching experience.
• Proficiency with computers and software used in teaching labs.
• Strong supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess operations and implement practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate nursing skills and supervise students during lab practice.
• Create a learning environment that promotes conceptual thinking and problem solving.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve clinical skill attainment.
• Maintain laboratory, inventory, and supplies, including training aids and media.
• Provide equipment and materials for demonstration of procedures.
• Keep attendance and skill performance records in the lab.
• Adhere to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.
