Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of nursing skills equipment, infection control practices, medical terminology, and safe handling of supplies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintain organized work areas, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift or move equipment and supplies as required for lab setup and breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, organize, and return laboratory equipment and reusable supplies as directed by nursing faculty.
• Help maintain inventory of lab supplies and equipment; notify faculty when items need to be ordered or repaired.
• Assist faculty to prepare instructional materials, skills stations, forms, checklists, and other resources.
• Provide courteous assistance to students using the lab, including helping them locate supplies.
• Participate in lab organization projects and accreditation or program review activities as needed.
