Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a Specialist to provide strategies and academic reinforcement to nursing students throughout their program and NCLEX-RN preparation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1+ year experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or tutoring is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate via telephone, computer, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate simulation-based experiences (SBE) and labs, including equipment maintenance, supplies, setup and cleanup.
• Demonstrates knowledge of NCLEX-RN concepts and currency in nursing practice to provide academic support.
• Assist in creating Next Generation NCLEX activities/workshops.
• Document and report students' progress toward program learning outcomes to academic leadership.
• Develop and implement clinically based scenarios for simulated learning experiences using high-fidelity simulators.
