Middlesex Community College is seeking a Nursing Simulation Technician to provide operational, technical, and logistical support for the nursing program's simulation center in Lowell. You will set up, run, and troubleshoot simulation equipment to ensure high-quality learning experiences for students and faculty.

The role requires one year of related experience and an Associate's degree or higher in a health sciences or IT field.

Formación

At least 1 year full-time or equivalent in technical support, IT, or AV-related field.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot simulation systems and patient simulators.
Proficiency with standard computer apps and ability to learn specialized simulation software.
Basic medical terminology knowledge or ability to learn.
Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently and with faculty.

Responsabilidades

Prepare, operate, and manage simulation activities with manikins, trainers, and AV systems.
Provide real-time technical support during sessions.
Collaborate with faculty to implement scenarios aligned with course objectives.
Oversee daily operations, safety, and equipment maintenance.
Support accreditation and program review with documentation.
Mentor students in professional conduct and lab practices.
