Job summary

REHAB Hospital of the Pacific seeks an Assistant Manager of Nursing to supervise nursing services during evenings and nights, weekends and holidays, ensuring seamless, patient-centered care.

The role collaborates with the Director of Nursing and managers, implements policies, and provides direct patient care when needed. Requires Hawaii RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and nursing management experience.

Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii RN licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an Associate degree in Nursing with two years of nursing management experience.
• Two years of acute care medical-surgical and/or acute rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing staff during evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Coordinate activities of hospital support personnel.
• Ensure delivery of integrated patient-centered care and uninterrupted services.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and department managers on administrative management during these shifts.
• Inform Manager, Nursing Managers about patient care, operations and risk issues on a timely basis.
