Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage areas or programs to include administrative functions and areas related to Nursing Services, including documentation, supplies, QA, care plans, MDS, infection control, staff scheduling, training, and supervision of staff.
• Support the Director of Nursing in planning nursing service operations, monitoring day-to-day activities, establishing priorities, and managing records, budgets or supplies.
• Stand in as acting Director of Nursing or charge nurse as needed with limited or full authority.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and Company QA standards and alert management to potential non-compliance issues with correction plans.
• Develop positive relationships with regulators, families, the health care community, and the local community.
• Assist in developing and implementing written care plans for residents addressing their needs.
• Supervise and participate in department education activities and staff meetings.
• Licensed nursing on-call duties rotate among the two ADONs and the Treatment Nurse, one full week on call.
