Qualifications

• Two years nursing experience required, preferably geriatric long-term care.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of employment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise assignment and scheduling of nursing staff.
• Provide nursing care on shift when needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff.
• Solve nursing service problems.
• Implement company forms, systems, policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of nursing, medical and related services.
• Validate the accuracy of Care Plans.
• Support facility policies and programs to improve staff understanding.
• Participate in facility quality improvement program.
• Conduct in-service and orientation programs.
• Review physician orders daily and monthly; participate in triple check process.
• Assist with DON responsibilities as requested.
• Supervise and evaluate Residents Rights implementation.
• Supervise RNs and LVNs.
• Attend periodic in-services and staff meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
