Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to manage Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards. The DON will supervise 24/7 operations and oversee the nursing department to ensure quality care in line with state and federal requirements.

The facility is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The role requires current RN licensure, an ADN/BSN, and supervisory experience in long‑term or acute care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for coordinating total care plans for residents according to physician orders and policies.
• Communicates policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitors practice.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in management meetings to discuss resident status and census changes.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
