Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Services department to ensure high-quality patient care in alignment with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications include an active RN license (ASN or BSN) and 2+ years in geriatric nursing; CPR certification is required at hire or during orientation and must remain current.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college; active RN license in good standing.
• Two years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, post-acute care.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation, to remain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing Nursing Services.
• Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Fulfill the DON duties in their absence and provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional conduct; enforce policies and compliance.
