Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a registered nurse leader to manage the nursing department at Southbrooke Manor in Edna, TX. This full-time role coordinates care, supervises staff, and ensures compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

You will work with physicians, families, and the quality assurance team, recruit and train staff, and help plan staffing to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a RN program at an accredited vocational schools, college, or university.
• Must possess a current Texas RN Licensure.
• Must have experience working in a skilled nursing facility for at least 3 years.
• Preferred to possess a current RUG certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct nursing department day-to-day functions in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with attending physician and medical director regarding resident care issues; with families when appropriate.
• Determine staffing needs, recruit, hire and train nursing service personnel; verify sufficient staffing for each shift.
• Develop work assignments, supervise staff, participate in QA, and support on-call schedules.
