PACS Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in a 24/7 long-term care environment. You will supervise licensed and non-licensed staff and help ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications include a BSN (preferred), active State Board of Nursing licensure, and 3–5 years of nurse management experience in a long-term care setting. The role requires leadership, reporting, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a BSN preferred.
• Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain continuing education/licensing.
• 3–5 years of nurse management, preferably in long-term care.

Responsabilités

• Assist the DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff.
• Develop and implement nursing services, policies and procedures.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff with the DON.
• Assist with employee appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Back-up for the DON, RN and LVN staff.
• May provide direct resident care as needed.
• Oversee clinical operations and daily rounds.
• Ensure resident safety and respect.
• Liaise with residents, families and physicians.
• Attend or lead staff meetings; report to the DON.
• Assist in design and evaluation of nursing systems.
• Assist with in-services for nursing staff.
• Maintain confidentiality.
