This full-time leadership role oversees nursing across mental health, crisis, residential, and developmental services, ensuring safe, person-centered, trauma-informed care. Requirements include a master's in nursing (or a BA with 3 years in a director-level leadership role), an active RN license in VT/NH, and at least 3 years of nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or Bachelor's with three years of leadership experience in a Director or similar role.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the states of Vermont and New Hampshire.
• At least three years of nursing leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
• Experience in mental health, developmental services, residential services, substance use treatment, or related human services.
• Knowledge of medication management, nursing delegation, clinical risk management, and quality improvement.
• Experience developing clinical policies, protocols, training programs, and competency standards.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing nursing staff.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, clinical documentation systems, and standard business technology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between service locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for nursing services across the agency’s programs.
• Ensure nursing services are safe, person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and responsive to complex needs.
• Lead development of clinical policies, protocols, training programs, and competency standards.
• Oversee nursing staff supervision and professional development.
• Coordinate care across multiple service locations and travel as required.
