Job summary

State of Connecticut, through the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) and DMHAS, seeks a Director of Nursing 1 to provide clinical and administrative oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care in New Haven.

The role requires directing nursing services across inpatient and ambulatory settings, coordinating staffing, evaluating staff, and leading performance improvement initiatives with a strong emphasis on safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in a health care organization.
• Active RN license in CT is required.
• For Nurse Executive, a master's degree is required.
