State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), seeks an experienced nurse executive to direct nursing services across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will oversee staffing, performance evaluations, and quality-improvement initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, policy development, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in health care, or equivalent
• License as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut or multistate/Compact license
• Masters-level qualification may be required for Nurse Executive roles

Responsabilidades

• Directs nursing/clinical staff and operations
• Ensure staffing coverage and staff competency through training
• Lead quality improvement initiatives for nursing services
• Plan and evaluate nursing/clinical activities and develop policies
• Maintain safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate 24-hour nursing coverage and participate in recruitment
• May provide direct patient care and represent nursing services
• Oversee infection control and coordination with other disciplines
