Job summary
The Pavilion at Piketon for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing services, ensure high-quality, compliant care, and manage staff performance. This full-time role requires an RN with a current license, a nursing degree, CPR certification, and at least three years of supervisory experience in a health care setting.

Qualifications
- A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisor experience in health care facilities.
- Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, laws, and long-term care guidelines.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Plans, direct, and evaluate the overall operations of the Nursing Services department.
- Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
- Participate in admission decisions.
- Attend management meetings to discuss census and resident status changes.
- Evaluate staff performance and apply disciplinary actions per policy.
- Support QAPI and performance improvement activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
