Cantex Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services in Mesquite, TX, to support the Director of Nursing Services in directing daily facility activities in accordance with state and federal guidelines. You will help ensure quality care for patients/residents and oversee nursing operations.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to clinical policies, and ability to coordinate with physicians, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate day-to-day nursing care for patients/residents.
• Ensure treatments, medications, and nursing services follow care plans and orders.
• Lead and participate in weekly/monthly committees as required by policy.
• Conduct frequent rounds to ensure staff perform essential functions per policy and regulations.
• Notify physicians and families of significant changes in patient health.
