Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks a Dean to serve as the principal academic and administrative leader of the School of Nursing. The Dean will guide curriculum, faculty, budgeting, and program quality while advancing student success and workforce alignment with healthcare sectors.

The role emphasizes collaboration with academic affairs, career link, and external partners to promote institutional objectives and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in nursing education and administration.
• Possess a current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• Master’s degree or higher in nursing (doctorate preferred).
• Must be employed full-time during the enrollment period of the students.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance the School of Nursing in alignment with the College’s mission and strategic plan.
• Provide instructional leadership and oversee curriculum development and program quality.
• Develop and manage budgets, staffing, and resources for the School.
• Oversee enrollment management, advising, and student success initiatives.
• Foster external partnerships and community relations to strengthen workforce linkages.
• Represent the School and College to stakeholders and professional organizations.
