Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is looking for a Nursing Scheduling Assistant to support Clinic Services with staffing coordination, payroll assistance, and onboarding activities. The role involves maintaining workforce data, coordinating monthly schedules, and assisting with recruitment while upholding confidentiality.

The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant coursework preferred.
• Experience: Previous healthcare, medical office, scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong grammar and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain workforce schedules for Clinic Services, including daily staffing adjustments and coverage planning.
• Administer workforce and payroll functions, including timecard corrections and labor allocation reviews.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling and new hire follow-up.
• Support leaders and employees through performance coordination, productivity reporting, and operational initiatives.
• Monitor education, competency, onboarding, and compliance records; ensure timely training completion.
• Provide confidential administrative support and assist with departmental projects and quality improvement.
