Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: At least 45 credit hours (3 semesters) completed in continuing undergraduate study in Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Counseling or related field or completion of a related vocational/technical degree program plus one year recent related experience
• Training and Experience: Organizational skills; ability to maintain/update computerized staffing schedule; strong communication; ability to work with others
• Knowledge Required: Clear writing; respectful communications; potential exposure to patients with aggressive behavior

Responsibilities

• Prepares work schedules and assignments for Mental Health Associates and RN staff as required by leadership
• Receives scheduling requests from staff, including PTO and sick leave requests
• Updates master schedule and communicates vacancies to leadership and HR
• Ensures all staff vacancies are filled on all units and communicates issues promptly
• Keeps attendance and tardiness records and notifies supervisors of policy breaches
• Completes timesheets daily and coordinates with Payroll
• Provides direct care to patients as needed and maintains certifications
• Completes Patient Satisfaction Surveys with management and staff for timely data entry
• Adheres to safety policies and participates in hospital safety trainings
• Follows hospital policies and procedures
• Reports accidents promptly and documents corrective actions

Education

45 credit hours completed in psychology/sociology/nursing/counseling or related field
