Job summary

University Behavioral Center in Orlando, FL is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage Nursing Department schedules, shift assignments, and attendance tracking. The role requires active, clear Florida licensure and prior behavioral health staffing experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Staffing Coordinator experience with scheduling staff work schedules preferred.
• Prior experience with UKG scheduler preferred.
• Previous experience in hospital/behavioral health/mental health/human services preferred.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work pro-actively and collaborate within a team.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
• Applicants subject to Level II Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing staff, including Nurses, RN/Shift Supervisors, Lead Mental Health Technicians and Mental Health Technicians.
• Create monthly schedules and daily assignment sheets.
• Process time-off requests and manage shift master scheduling software.
• Maintain attendance calendars and monitor absences/tardiness.
• Provide administrative support to Chief Nursing Officer and be on call for scheduling emergencies if needed.
