Job summary

Premier Health Partners’ Pain Center seeks a Resource Coordinator & Educator at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton to drive quality care, coordinate performance improvement activities, and mentor staff and students. The RN serves as educator and resource nurse, guiding orientation and clinical education in the Pain Center Procedural area.

Requirements include a BSN, an active Ohio RN license with CPR and ACLS at hire, and 3–5 years of hospital RN experience (1 year in Pain Center preferred).

Shift: Full-time Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm / 80 Hours per Pay

Facility: Miami Valley Hospital & Miami Valley Hospital South

The Pain Center Resource Coordinator and Educator works in collaboration with the Pain Center Program Manager to ensure quality standards of care and assists in coordination of Department Performance Improvement activities. The incumbent also serves as the Nurse Educator and functions as a Resource Nurse, overseeing the orientation process, and assisting with students. As a Registered Nurse, also responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for patients in varying stages of the Pain Center Procedural area. Pain Center nurses are accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.

Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 years of hospital RN experience is required. 1 year experience as a Pain Center Nurse. Teaching/preceptor and critical care experience is preferred.
