Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton is seeking a Resource Coordinator & Educator in the Pain Center. The incumbent collaborates with the Pain Center Program Manager to maintain quality standards and to coordinate performance improvement activities.

The role also functions as Nurse Educator and Resource Nurse, leading orientation and supervising students. As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care across Pain Center procedures, while ensuring compliance with the Ohio Nurse

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and RN license required.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification required at time of hire.
• 1 year Pain Center nursing experience preferred; 3–5 years hospital RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Pain Center Program Manager to ensure quality standards of care.
• Assist in coordination of Department Performance Improvement activities.
• Serve as Nurse Educator and Resource Nurse; oversee orientation and student supervision.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Pain Center Procedural area.
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards and institutional policies.
