Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Grand Junction, CO seeks a Nursing Graduate to work under direct RN supervision in patient care delivery. You will learn the nursing process, participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality.

You will contribute to patient and family education, observe care delivery, and assist with maintaining safe, evidence-based practices while pursuing RN licensure within Intermountain standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized and accredited Nursing/RN education program (education will be verified).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient data collection and documentation under RN supervision.
• Observe and participate in planning and delivery of the patient care plan.
• Support education of patients and families under supervision of the RN.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the RN promptly.
