Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene and nourishment.
• Obtains vital signs and communicates with the care team.
• Inserts, maintains and removes PIVs, Foley catheters and NG tubes.
• Performs venipuncture and safe wound care.
• Documents patient care with RN supervision and dual sign-off.
• Assists with transfers, admissions and discharges per safety guidelines.
• Promotes mission and values of Intermountain Health.
• May float to other departments as needed.
