Job summary

The Harrison, a Sonida Senior Living community in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to join our team. You will administer prescribed medications and assist residents with daily living activities under physician orders and professional standards.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs as directed, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring accurate documentation of intake and output, while delivering compassionate care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Indiana Medication Aide in good standing.
• Ability to administer medications under physician orders.
• Comfort assisting with activities of daily living.

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• May supervise CNAs as directed.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, mobility and personal hygiene.
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:
